What are your goals for the year?
Not your New Year resolutions, but your life goals, professional goals, blogging goals, etc — the things you want to accomplish by December 31, 2016.
- Have you written them out yet?
- Have you thought about them?
- Get a piece of paper or open your blog editor and write them down.
Think about publishing them. Setting public goals adds accountability and makes a goal more concrete. If you’re nervous about setting a public goal you don’t keep, purpose in your mind (or even state in your goal write up) that you can be flexible and your goals are allowed to change if you find that they don’t fit.
Everyone makes mistakes, and things change. Those things are a given, so stop stressing about them. You have the power to accomplish whatever you want with your life. But you have to decide what those things are and what you’re willing to do to go after them.
