My business coach, Rachel Abott gave me this assignment on Monday. I expect I’ll be posting future assignments here as well.
My task was to make a list of 100 things I’m good at.
It sounds a bit daunting, but I did it in about an hour. Here’s how.
Break your skills and talents down into categories
Add a category for unique qualities and experiences
Brainstorm or mindmap as many things as you can think of for each category
List any major life events and the lessons they taught you.
Plug your categories into a search engine and skim the top articles that come up. These will help jog your memory and shift your perspective to realize how much you know and what skills you’ve gained.

I make amazing art
I know my worth
I am stubborn as hell.
I was born with a physical disability (I use a wheelchair), survived child abuse and domestic violence, and now live with PTSD. I’ve also been homeless.
I’ve done CBT, DBT, and participated in multiple 12 Step programs.
These give me a uniquely informed perspective on personal relationships, social issues, and require a lot of adaptation in how I approach my business.
I’m self-taught in almost everything I know; there are positive and negative aspects to that.
I’ve travelled the whole East Coast multiple times.
I used to hike, do archery, and ride horses.
I volunteered as a peer support provider for youth with disabilities and did social advocacy for Disability Rights
Give this a shot and let me know what you come up with!
